Ken Nigro is based in central Connecticut.  If you’re interested in live music, saxophone lessons, flute lessons, or clarinet lessons, for classical, jazz & improvisation you’ve come to the right place.  Ken can be reached by  clicking:  EMAIL KEN below.  Ken plays and teaches jazz, classical, big band, smooth jazz, rock, blues and also arranges and composes music.  He can provide live music for various functions such as weddings and corporate events, from solo acts up through 9 piece ensembles with vocals.  He has performed with artists such as Aretha Franklin, Manhattan Transfer, Chris Botti, the Temptations, Jens Wendelboe and John Pizzarelli.  He has been teaching at  the college level since the mid 1980s.  Ken is a featured soloist along with Harvie Swartz, Bill Mays, Norman Johnson and Dianne Mower on the New Millennium Jazz Ensemble’s CD.  He’s also known for outstanding results with his improvisation & music theory teaching methods.
